The goal of therapy is to help others, and help with change or growth. In the practices of therapy, individuals are allowed to safely explore issues or concerns. There are a wide range of specialties and/or techniques to help with behaviors, thoughts, or mental issues. But our specialty is helping others become a better version of themselves.
Marquese considers himself a life-learner, for without continually learning he feels we miss opportunities for growth and development in different areas. In step with learning he is currently enrolled in a Psy.D program, which is a doctoral level clinical degree, he desires to still engage individuals in counseling and help enrich their lives.

My approach to therapy
My approach to therapy is of both Eclectic, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This allows me to work with a variety of clients and utilize methods that best fit the individual. Cognitive behavioral therapy is a method that can help you with awareness of behaviors, emotions and thoughts that are impacting you. Together we can explore new ways to respond, manage emotions differently and re-adjust our thoughts to bring improvement in your life.
I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families regarding a variety of concerns such as conflict resolution, infidelity, relationships and communication barriers. Additionally, I work with clients dealing with anxiety/depression, and also an area of specific focus is men's issues, and image repair.
