We know we're in a time of uncertainty and consistent change. With dramatic events such as  COVID-19, it can leave us collectively feeling stressed and overwhelmed. This affects foundational aspects of our lives from everything such as relationships, workplace, all the way to finances. It can also leave us trapped in unhealthy thought patterns such as:   

 

  • Incessantly worrying about what will happen next. 

  • Wondering how to manage while balancing everything that's going on in life. 

  • Feelings of isolation and loneliness without being able to go to work or see family. 

 

Or maybe they are thoughts of already existing stressors such as relationships that have fostered so much hurt,  it feels as though things will never change.

 

On the other end, perhaps it's relationships that have been emotionally draining due to a lack of communication, or infidelity; depression or past traumas that have affected quality of life and relationships. These major events can take one by surprise and often are really painful. This leaves the individual wondering, "can I come back from this type of pain, can we love again, how do I learn to love myself?"
